This is an original oil painting by Stephanie Weaver of a girl sitting at a fireside on the beach. The painting represents one of 5 stages of grief - denial, and isolation. This is a powerful and timely piece that captures a moment in history.

When we were all forced into isolation at the start of the pandemic, we were saying goodbye to life as we knew it. Some were in denial, and all of us were isolated. We all were collectively turning our backs on the world and looking towards a fire of hope. Hope always burned within.

Stephanie used a palette knife to portray the thick energy of the lies, fear, and deceit that was all around in the dark atmosphere. But the fire of truth will always burn away and reveal the lies. Time is all we need. So we sit in isolation and wait.

This painting is full of symbolic meaning and captures the mood of the time. It would be a perfect addition to any home or office and would bring thoughtful joy to any space. No matter what the circumstance the truth will be revealed.
